About Air Caraibes
The airline began operations in September 1994 under the name Société Caribéenne de Transports Aériens. Regional French airline Air Carabes flies between Guadeloupe and Martinique, two of France’s overseas departments. With a fleet of 12 aircraft, the airline provides charter and regular services to 13 West Indian islands as well as transatlantic flights to Paris. When Jean-Paul Dubreuil made the decision to sell his regional airline, Air Vendée, to Air France in 2000, he decided to reinvest in the West Indies. He bought Air Guadeloupe and rebranded it Air Carabes. Now, the business exclusively provides service to Caribbean islands.
