About Air France
The national airline of France and a member of the Air France-KLM Group is Air France. On October 7, 1933, Air Orient and Air France were combined to establish Air France. As of 2013, Air France operated scheduled passenger and cargo services to 201 locations in 78 countries (93 of which included French overseas departments and territories), and it served 29 destinations in France. In 2019, it carried 46,803,000 passengers. 51.4 million passengers were carried by Air France and its regional subsidiary Hop in 2018. In 1936, Air France added French-built twin-engine Potez 62 aircraft with a two-compartment cabin with seating for 14–16 passengers to its fleet.
