Regional airline Air Wisconsin Airlines is situated in the Wisconsin hamlet of Greenville, next to Appleton, at Appleton International Airport. Prior to becoming an American Eagle regional airline, Air Wisconsin was one of the initial United Express partners in 1985, flying as US Airways Express on US Airways’ behalf. With key hubs at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Air Wisconsin has been operating only as a United Express regional airline since March 2018.According to a new deal with American Airlines, this will terminate in April 2023 when the company moves to operating flights under the American Eagle name. $110,000 was raised by Fox Cities investors in 1963 to launch a new business.
