About Airlink (4Z)
Airlink. Its primary line of work is to offer transportation between smaller, underserved towns and major hub airports. Since then, it has grown to include flights on longer, mainstream routes. The airline has a constantly growing network of more than 60 routes between more than 50 locations. It rose to third place in terms of seats carried and second place in terms of flights within Africa in January 2021. Business partners Rodger Foster and Barrie Webb established Airlink in 1992 after buying the dissolved Link Airways company, which had previously included a number of smaller airlines, including Midlands Aviation (started in 1967), Lowveld Aviation Services, Magnum Airways, Border Air, and Citi Air. Airlink was the name of the new airline.
