About ALROSA Airlines
a Russian mining firm that has merged with a Russian airline called Mirny Air Enterprise With a focus city at Lensk Airport, it has bases at Mirny and Polyarny airports. They run both scheduled and charter flights. The Russian mining corporation ALROSA (Almazy Rossii Sakha) formed Alrosa Mirny Air Enterprise. A subsidiary firm, Alrosa Avia, which was founded in 1992[1], ran passenger charter services out of Moscow Vnukovo Airport in Russia and the CIS.[1] On November 21, 2008, the company’s flight certificate was revoked. The final flight of RA-85684, the plane used in Alrosa Flight 514 from Mirny to Novosibirsk, was completed on September 29, 2018. The airplane was erected in the Tolmachevo Museum of Aviation as a monument.
