Beijing Capital Airlines, also known as Capital Airlines, is a Chinese low-cost airline that is based at Beijing Daxing International Airport. It is a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines. Deer Jet Airlines (Chinese: ; pinyin: Jnlù Hángkng) was the name given to the company when it was established in 1995. In 1998, it began offering international services under the moniker Deer Air. It started returning the Boeing 737s it had been using in October 2007 in exchange for its first Airbus A319 model. Deer Jet began operating charter flights in December 2008, using a fleet of corporate and A319 aircraft. The airline received authorization from the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration in 2009 to operate regularly scheduled flights.
