About Braathens Regional Airlines (DC)
Stockholm serves as the home base for Braathens Regional Airlines, a regional airline based in Sweden. One of Sweden’s biggest domestic airlines, it was established in 2016. BRA In order to combine the formerly separate appearances of Malmö Aviation, Sverigeflyg, and Braathens Regional and offer a single brand to the Swedish domestic market, Braathens Regional Airlines was established in 2016. The BRA does not own any aircraft or an AOC. Instead, it makes use of the resources of its sibling companies, Braathens Regional Aviation and Regional Airways. Due to a significant drop in demand and the Swedish Government and Public Health Agency’s advice that people avoid flying during the weeks of April 6 and May, BRA canceled all flights between those dates in early April 2020.
