Ontario’s Kanata[6] Fully owned by Inuit, Bradley Air Services operates as Canadian North in Canada. It operates regular passenger flights to towns in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Nunavik region of Quebec, in addition to southern places including Edmonton, Montreal, and Ottawa.[7] The company’s motto is Fly the Arctic. Canadian aviation pioneer Russell (Russ) Bradley founded First Air, which started operating in 1946 and is now registered as Bradley Air Services. In 1973, First Air commenced operations as a flight school in Carp, Ontario, and began offering regular flights between Ottawa and North Bay. This service was rendered using an aircraft with eight seats. In order to serve this niche market, Canadian North was established as a company in 1989.
