About Cayman Airways (KX)
Cayman Airways is the official airline of the British Overseas Territory of the Cayman Islands. It is primarily a domestic and international scheduled passenger airline with its headquarters in Grand Cayman, and cargo services are provided on the majority of flights. Its main office is located near George Town’s Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman. The company’s motto is “Those who fly us, love us.” On August 7th, 1968, the airline was established and officially launched for operation. It was created following the Cayman Islands Government’s purchase of 51% of Cayman Brac Airways from LACSA, the national carrier of Costa Rica, and it was wholly possessed by the government in December 1977. In 1955, Cayman Brac Airways was founded. LACSA had been stopping at Grand Cayman since the middle of the 1950s.
