About CemAir
FlyCemAir, a local and international scheduled and non-scheduled airline based at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, was established in 2005. The airline is a subsidiary of the expert aircraft leasing firm CemAir Pty Ltd. The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) suspended CemAir’s two flight operator licences on December 13th, 2018. With the SACAA decision overturned, CemAir was able to begin operations. The business was established in 2005 with the goal of flying turboprop commuter aircraft, and its first fleet included 3 Beechcraft 1900C and 1 Cessna Grand Caravan.
