Regional airline China Express Airlines has its corporate headquarters on the grounds of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport in Chongqing, China (simplified Chinese: ; traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: Huáxià Hángkng). The first privately owned regional airline in China is China Express Airlines, often known as Huaxia Airlines. At Guiyang Airport in southwest China on August 28, 2010, a China Express Airlines Bombardier Bombardier CRJ200 regional plane scraped the ground as it touched down. During the incident, nobody was hurt. The airline’s operations were halted on September 1 by a directive from China’s Civil Aviation Administration following a landing incident at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in which an aircraft’s right wing was damaged.
