About Colorful Guizhou Airlines
Low-cost regional airline Colorful Guizhou Airlines is situated at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in Guizhou, China, and has its main office there as well.It aims to enhance air travel in Western China, especially in Guizhou Province. It is the province’s first locally owned airline. The airline started operating Embraer 190s in December 2015 and flew to locations across the nation. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) gave preliminary clearance for the joint establishment of Duocai Guizhou Airlines on May 18, 2015, to Guizhou Industrial Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. and Weining County Construction Investment Group. On June 19, 2015, Colorful Guizhou Airlines became the airline’s legal name. From a provincial government marketing initiative, “Colorful Guizhou” was coined to represent the region’s cultural richness.
