About Compagnie Africaine d’Aviation (BU)
A regional airline from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Compagnie Africaine d’Aviation (CAA; African Aviation Company), changed its name to FlyCAA in 2013. It is situated at Kinshasa’s N’djili Airport. It provides a vast network of regularly scheduled domestic freight and passenger flights. CAA has been added to the list of airlines that are prohibited from operating in the European Union due to safety and security issues. Founded in 1991, Compagnie Africaine d’Aviation began operations on December 26, 1992. FlyCAA was created in 2013 through a merger with FlyCongo. After failing to get renewable traffic rights, the airline cut its single international route to Johannesburg in January 2016.
