About Eurowings Discover
Long-distance travel company Eurowings Discover. A fully owned subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Eurowings Discover is a subbrand of the airline. On June 16, 2021, Eurowings Discover received an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the German Federal Aviation Authority. The airline’s first flight took place on July 24, 2021, flying from Frankfurt to Mombasa and then on to Zanzibar. Following the implementation of a new aviation legislation requirement known as partial CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization), Eurowings Discover is the first airline in Germany to be granted an unrestricted permission.
