About EWA Air
In the Mayotte department’s Dzaoudzi, Ewa Air has its base of operations. Through a hub operation out of Dzaoudzi-Pamandzi Airport, the company hopes to provide service to the islands of the Comoros Archipelago, Madagascar, and other outlying locations along the Mozambique Channel. Shimaore is one of the two primary indigenous languages spoken in Mayotte, and the term “Ewa” (pronounced é-oua) signifies “yes” in that language.
