About Paranair (ZP)
In 2015, Air Nostrum and Amaszonas formed a joint venture to become Amaszonas Paraguay. On September 23, 2015, the airline’s first flight under the name Amazonas Paraguay took place. On June 19, 2018, the airline changed its name to Paranair and announced its severance and separation from the Amaszonas group of airlines. The company’s joint backers, Inversiones in Lineas Aereas Internacionales from Spain and Avmax Group Inc. from Canada, each owned a 50% stake in Paranair. Operations under the Paranair brand started on October 15, 2018. Silvio Pettirossi International Airport serves as its hub. This airline uses Bombardier CRJ100LR and CRJ200ER aircraft in its fleet.
