WestJet Encore is a regional airline in Canada whose headquarters is located in Calgary, Alberta. The parent company of WestJet Encore Airlines is WestJet Airlines. It was owned by its parent company itself. It was founded on June 24, 2013. To expand the service to the routes and to reduce the traffic, it was formed. It is separated from WestJet legally. WestJet Encore initially served just Western Canada, but in June 2014, it expanded into the eastern half of the country with a route from Toronto to Thunder Bay, Ontario. It later started operating on eastern routes based in Toronto and Halifax. In 2016, WestJet Encore entered the international market.
